Cardiff Audi hopes to put Cardiff Blues on the road to success this season.
Cardiff Audi has confirmed that they will be continuing to support Cardiff Blues for the 2010/2011 season. The Cardiff Gate based dealership will be providing vehicles to two of the clubs most well known players. Ben Blair and Xavier Rush have been supplied with top of the range A4 Saloon’s.
The cars were handed over by Cardiff Audi’s Head of Business (John Spriggs) and Marketing Manager (Gareth Rosser), at the clubs training facility in the Vale Hotel (see picture).
John Spriggs said,
“We are delighted to be supporting our Rugby region in this way and hope that the sporty and sophisticated Audi’s will help keep Ben and Xavier on the road to success and build on the Blues achievements last season.”
Robert Norster Cardiff Blues Chief Executive commented,
“We have been working with Cardiff Audi for a number of seasons now and we are delighted that the affiliation will continue for the coming season. Audi is an internationally recognized brand of which Cardiff Blues are proud to be associated with. I look forward to this relationship growing throughout the season and beyond.”
An additional element to the sponsorship sees Cardiff Audi’s sister dealership Capitol Volkswagen in Merthyr Tydfil, supplying 4 Volkswagen’s which will be used throughout the season by Cardiff Blues community development officers and the Blues latest Kiwi recruit, Michael Paterson. Both dealerships are part of the Mon Motors Group, which is one of the largest automotive dealer groups in South Wales and the West of England.
