Cardiff Blues Director of Coaching David Young has confirmed the pre-season fixtures for the team.

The build-up for the start of the new campaign includes two dress rehearsals at Cardiff Arms Park against Bristol and Worcester in August. Season ticket holders will receive free entry to both games if they renew their season ticket before 19th August.

David Young said,

“We have played friendlies away against both Bristol and Worcester in the last two seasons and lost narrowly on both occasions. Our links with both teams go back many years and these games will be ideal preparation for the start of the new season as they are both among the best coached and supported sides in the English Premiership.”

The two games will also provide an immediate opportunity for Worcester’s Ryan Powell and Bristol’s Craig Morgan to play against their former Cardiff Blues team mates at the Arms Park.
