Cardiff Blues has recently announced that a car dealership will be one of its official sponsors for the next two seasons.

Cardiff Blues and Wessex Garages on Hadfield Road will be working together during the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons.

Gareth Howells, General Manager at Wessex Garages, said: “We are really pleased to have become one of the club’s official sponsors for the next two seasons.

“We were the Cardiff Blues’ Automotive Partner last season and it is great to be able to take our relationship to the next level. We also think it is important to be involved in the local community, which is why we have chosen to support the team again.

“We are hoping to further strengthen our connection with the club’s supporters through exclusive offers and competitions to win prizes including tickets to matches and signed shirts, via the team and our ‘Wessex Premier Club’.

“Our Premier Club is free for motorists to join and provides members with a variety of rewards and offers, including free tyre checks and fittings, bulb replacements and even discounts on family days out.”

Cardiff Blues is one of four regional rugby union teams in Wales. The region competes in the RaboDirect Pro12, Heineken Cup and LV=Cup league at Cardiff Arms Park, which has recently had a state of the art artificial pitch installed.

Matthew Rees, Cardiff Blues captain, added: “We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Wessex Garages during the next two seasons. The company’s on-going support of the club is very much appreciated.”

Wessex Garages is a privately owned company that has outlets in Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester and Newport. It specialises in new and used car sales across South Wales and the South West.

Gareth continued: “We have established a reputation for honesty, reliability and outstanding value for money and we pride ourselves on passing on massive savings on new and used cars direct to our customers, while still providing an aftersales service that is both friendly and professional.”
