Blues 16 Ulster 25
Friday 21 November 3.00pm kick off
Ulster A took an early lead through two converted tries against a young Blues A side, however, the Blues soon struck back with two penalties from outside half Dai Flanagan.
Following some good build up work by Bradley Davies, Dai Flanagan and Darren Allinson the Blues crossed the white wash with Number 8, Adam Powell, crashing over in the corner. Flanagan struck the conversion just wide.
Ulster hit back instantly from the restart with hooker, Neil Hanna latching on to the kick off and coming to within a yard of the try line before second row forward Paulo drove over in the corner to give Ulster A a 19-11 half time lead.

With the rain starting to fall in the second half the game deteriorated somewhat with a lot of unforced errors and directionless kicking.
The Blues were keeping Ulster back in their own half but were failing to capitalise on their territory.
The breakthrough came when James Lockston made a great break down the left wing and flipped the ball inside for Jamie Murphy to score.
Sloppy defence by the Blues saw them driven all the way back to their own twenty two. However, Ulster were awarded a penalty that Humphreys converted and soon followed it with another to secure a 25-16 win to the visitors.
