Cardiff Blues' flanker Dan Baugh has been banned for eight weeks bya disciplinary panel of European Rugby Cup.
Baugh had been cited by Leinster Lions for alleged stamping and kicking an opponent's head in the Heineken Cup match at Cardiff Arms Park last month.
The panel concluded that the player "was at least careless with no regard for the consequence of his action".
The ban takes effect immediately and up to and including 1 March 2004.
