Cardiff Blues has today confirmed that wing George Watkins has left the region and returned to his former club Bristol Rugby.
Watkins joined Blues in the summer from the Greene King IPA Championship club and made his debut in the Guinness PRO12 away fixture with Leinster in September.
However, the 24-year-old has now been released to make a return to Bristol Rugby on an 18-month contract.
Watkins leaves the region with our very best wishes and thanks for his efforts during his time with the Blues.
