Head Coach Danny Wilson has called on his Cardiff Blues to defend the region's home record in the Guinness PRO12 when they welcome Edinburgh Rugby to BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday (kick-off 5.15pm).
Cardiff Blues have suffered just one league defeat on home soil this campaign with Zebre, Connacht Rugby and Scarlets all beaten.
And with seven homes left this term, Wilson knows home form will ultimately decide if his team can climb the league table in 2016.
“We’ve won five out of last seven games now, losing to Montpellier and Harlequins away – we are on a bit of a run of form,” he said.
“There are definitely a number of areas to iron out of our performances to get these wins, but the important thing is we are winning here at home.
“We’ve lost one league game against Glasgow at home and we certainly don’t want that record to slip on Saturday.
“It’s a good Edinburgh side who have climbed the league, but like us they have got over nine players away on international duty.
“It should make for an interesting encounter between two good sides that are in form at the moment.”
