This Wednesday, 11th April, from 2pm to 3pm Cardiff Blues will be teaming up with Marks & Spencer to help raise money for this weekends official match charity, Marie Curie.
Every year in the UK over 600,000 people die of critical illnesses, many in avoidable pain and distress. Marie Curie's hospice and nursing services aim to provide more people regardless of their personal circumstances with the palliative care they deserve. The Marie Curie hospices care for the whole person, aiming to meet all needs - physical, emotional, social and spiritual.
Cardiff Blues will be giving their support to this great cause with a collection at this Saturday’s Ospreys match. Paul Tito and Sam Warburton will be at Marks & Spencer, Leckwith tomorrow signing autographs and posing for photos in exchange for a small donation to Marie Curie.
The Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth, offers a range of services to people with terminal cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. The hospice actively promotes quality of life for people with cancer and other diseases and provides support for their families. The dedicated staff provide a high level of knowledge and expertise, and the 'Well Being Programme' offers patients nurse led clinics, and rehabilitation advice, significantly improving their quality of life.
Come and join us at Marks & Spencer, Leckwith Retail Park to help raise money for this great charity. There will even be an opportunity to meet Sam Warburton and Paul Tito, who will available for a signing session from 2pm-3pm.
There will be other activities going on throughout the day at Marks & Spencer, including a chance to buy your ticket for this Saturday’s match, Cardiff Blues V Ospreys, 14th April, 6:30pm kick off.
