Vote now for first Hit of the Month of the new season

Voting is now open for Cardiff Blues' Hit of the Month, with some bone crunching tackles in the mix for October's award.

The tone was set for a highly competitive shortlist with the very first tackle of the season, as James Botham and Dmitri Arhip combined to thump Maxime Mbanda backwards immediately from kick off.

Another double hit from that game is included in the top four, with Welsh internationals Dillon Lewis and Cory Hill linking up to bring an Italian counter attack to a halt.

Hill appears for a second time, making a double hit with Rey Lee-Lo in the77th-minute of the win over Connacht with Gwilym Bradley and Max Llewellyn also included for a brilliant tackle in the Cardiff Blues A's victory over Dragons A.
