Head Coach Danny Wilson has praised the performances of Mr. Consistent Josh Turnbull after the star forward celebrated his 50th game for Cardiff Blues in some style.
Turnbull has already clocked up 21 games for Wilson’s men this season and hit 50 appearances in less than two seasons for Cardiff Blues in the thumping win over Benetton Treviso.
The former Scarlets ace was again a pivotal figure in the home victor y and was awarded the man-of-the-match award and afterwards high praise from Wilson.
“Josh has been great and it was his 50th game against Treviso so to get man-of-the-match was outstanding,” he said
“Whether you play him six, eight, second row – he produces the kind of performance he did against Treviso.
“He is putting his hand up and he is desperate to go on to bigger and better things with international honours,” he added.
“Josh’s performances this season have been great and hopefully they will give him consistent opportunities at that level.
“We have a number of players in form here who will want to push for the summer tour.”
