The opportunities we created is a positive sign - Rees

Interview l Assistant coach Richie Rees looks back on last week's narrow defeat to Vodacom Bulls and previews tomorrow's game against Zebre Parma in Italy.

Although Cardiff made errors with ball in hand against Bulls, Rees was pleased with the attacking intent shown by the Blue and Blacks and sees positive signs ahead of the match against Zebre. 

“There were opportunities we left out there from an attacking perspective, issues around handling errors and some pickups over launch, but I think the opportunities we created is a positive sign,” said Rees.

“We’ve got to be realistic with that and they’ll only get better through these experiences so, there’s a positive outlook on it and we’ve had a good training week so far, all be it a short couple of days, but we go again and we roll on to Zebre."
