Steven Shingler's counter-attacking effort against Benetton Treviso has been voted February's Try of the Month.
Shingler was on hand to take the final pass from Lloyd Williams, who also started the move inside Cardiff Blues’ 22m, capping off a fantastic team move early in the second half.
The ball went through the hands of Kristian Dacey, Gareth Anscombe, Willis Halaholo and Matthew Morgan, before Shingler received the ball 40 meters out to run in for the score.
Shingler’s score was up against tough competition for the award, with tries by Kristian Dacey and Willis Halaholo, also against Benetton Treviso, and Sion Bennett’s crucial score at Edinburgh also shortlisted. All shortlisted tries can be found in the video below.
