Singapore will host the next stage of the #StayStrongForOws fundraising and awareness campaign next month - that will also see former Cardiff Blues and Wales star Owen Williams return to the city where his life changed forever.
A week for fundraising activities is planned in Singapore from February 23 to 27, that includes a corporate touch rugby tournament, a rugby coaching clinic, a golf day and a charitable evening ball.
The aim of the events is to raise much needed funds to assist in the continued rehabilitation of Owen who was injured in June 2014 at the Singapore National Sports Stadium.
Since that moment Owen’s story, his resilience, attitude and determination to meet every challenge head-on has been an inspiration to the rugby community.
The week’s activities are being supported by former Cardiff and Wales lock Craig Quinnell, former Bath, England and British & Irish Lions hooker Lee Mears and Glasgow Warriors and Scotland Sevens player Colin Gregor.
