It's the innaugural season of the Magners League play offs and the race for the top 4 positions is still wide open.
Leinster have all but secured top position with 50 points and a game in hand over the other teams. If the defending Heineken Cup champions do finish top, they will face the team in fourth, the teams placed second and third will face each other. The top 2 teams will have home advantage.
There are seven teams, including the Blues in the race for the play off positions, with each of the celtic nations represented in the top four as it stands.

The end of season run in doesn't just include Magners League matches for three of the seven teams. Munster and Leinster both face French opposition in the semi finals of the Heineken Cup and the Blues will travel to Adams Park to face London Wasps on Saturday 1st May, ko 6pm.
After a great trip to London last year for the EDF Final, Cardiff Blues are hoping many fans make the trip from capital to capital again this season to cheer them on to success. Tickets for the match have been available to season ticket holders for a week and are now on general sale to everyone, with all ticket sale restrictions lifted.
