Cardiff Blues Premiership Select (CBPS) have named the team to face London Welsh in the crunch British & Irish Cup clash at BT Sport Cardiff Arms ark on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2.45pm).
The CBPS know only victory will be good enough as they chase a place in the knockout stages of the cup competition.
The coaching team have made a number of changes to the side that defeated Cornish Pirates in Cornwall in the last round.
Wales Under-20 international Elis-Wyn Benham is handed his debut while a new-look centre partnership will see Academy hot prospect Harri Millard and Tom Isaacs combine.
Scrum half Tomos Williams comes into to play alongside Gareth Davies at half back while Aled Summerhill moves to full back.
The only change to the pack is a call-up for prop Craig Mitchell while Corey Domachowski could make his debut from the bench while Pontypridd’s Gavin Dacey could also make an appearance.
Head Coach Richard Hodges said: “We’re now at the stage where every game is a knockout fixture and we know we can’t afford to lose if we want to progress to the quarter-finals.
“We hand debuts to a number of young players like Elis-Wyn Benham and Harri Millard.
“It’s great to see potential regional players of the future given the chance to impress and the competition has undoubtedly now become a vital part of the career pathway for young Welsh rugby players.”
Tickets will be available on the day from the Ticket Office at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
