Cardiff Blues wing Mosese Luveitasau was cleared of foul play in the Heineken Cup Round 1 match against Bourgoin at an independent Disciplinary Committee in Dublin yesterday.
The citing lodged by the Citing Commissioner for the match, Gordon Black, was for an alleged dangerous tackle in contravention of Law 10.4 (e). The independent Disciplinary Committee, chaired by Hugh Logan and also comprising Mark McParland and Phil Orr found that Luveitasau had not committed an act of foul play and therefore the citing was not upheld.
Both parties were advised of the right to appeal.
