Injury update: Arhip ruled out for the season

Cardiff Rugby can confirm Dmitri Arhip has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a ruptured Achilles. 

Arhip, who was making his 70th appearance for the club, suffered the injury in the first-half of Saturday’s 30-13 BKT United Rugby Championship victory over Benetton Rugby.

The tight-head prop will undergo surgery later week and begin a nine to 12 month rehabilitation in due course.

Meanwhile Jarrod Evans, who also left the field in the first-half, is progressing through his return to play protocols following a HIA.
