With the inaugural Rugby World Club 10s moving full steam ahead, competition is hotting up even before the event - that features Cardiff Blues - kicks off in Singapore next month.
The World Club 10s will be the first international sports event held at the new 55,000-seater National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub from 21-22 June.
The event will feature eight elite professional clubs from around the world. Already confirmed are the legendary Brumbies Super Rugby franchise from Australia, the Asia Pacific Dragons - an invitational squad of the fiercest players throughout Asia and the Pacific Islands, Biarritz Olympique, one of France’s most historic teams, and Cardiff Blues.
The latest teams to join the event are Super Rugby’s The Blues from Auckland, New Zealand and the Samoa national team, playing as the Samoa Water President’s 10.
Managing Director of SportsHub Pte Ltd, Mr. Mark Collins, said: “The Singapore Sports Hub is excited to be hosting the World Cup 10s and all the elite players from around the world.

We see that happening now, through events like World Cup 10s. Rugby fans here in Singapore and across the region will be able to watch up close some of the world’s best rugby players in action, and soak in the experience at Sports Hub."
