Cardiff Blues season ticket holders were queuing from 8am this morning (Monday) to renew their season tickets for the 2012/13 season
A Cardiff Blues season ticket gives entry to 11 regular season RaboDirect PRO12 matches, 3 Heineken Cup pool matches and 2 LV= Cup pool games plus any friendly matches.
The move back to the Arms Park has proved popular with supporters who can now once again purchase terrace tickets priced competitively at £40 for a junior and £180 for adults.
A 2012/13 season ticket also provides access to all Cardiff RFC home league games, giving supporters entry to over 30 rugby matches at Cardiff Arms Park, making it even more value for money.
Season Ticket holders gathered at the Pack Lounge, in the Arms Park, which is open from 10am to 7pm this week for renewals. Season Tickets will go on general sale next Monday the 28th of May.
Speaking at Cardiff Arms Park, Cardiff Blues season ticket holder John Morley said, "Ticket sales are going very well, I was shocked by the length of the queue of people when I got there. The wait was worth it to get a receipt for next season’s games in my hand."
Cardiff Blues CEO Richard Holland commented, "Day one of ticket sales has been hugely encouraging and confirmed to us the popularity of Cardiff Arms Park as a rugby venue. With supply of seats at CAP being limited a season ticket is the only way for supporters to guarantee entry for the popular Welsh Derby and Heineken Cup fixtures."
