Rhonnda gained a fair degree of revenge for their defeat at Treorchy in November, HOW found the physicality of the Rhondda wingers hard to cope with and it was no surprise that they got two of the visitors tries.
However the home team replied with an interception try through flanker Ben Jones who has been one of the most consistent performers for HOW this season.
After the break Rhondda continued to make the hard yards through concerted forward drives and the home defence was again found wanting! This was the poorest defensive performance by HOW this season!
Rhondda went further ahead with another two tries one of which was converted.
HOW did have the last word with another interception try this time by replacement no8 Jamie Sherwood who was playing in front of his home crowd.
This result leaves HOW with a seasons record of played 8, won 4, lost 4.
