Jonah Lomu received some encouraging news today following further review of the ankle injury he sustained during the Blues Reivers game a week ago.
We are pleased with the progress. The break is healing well on its own and we envisage Jonah being out of the cast and into a space boot in 3 weeks time. Jonah is very fortunate to have big bones that are strong otherwise the break could have been a lot worse. said a Welsh Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Lomu will continue training with the Blues fitness trainers over the next 3 weeks before beginning rehabilitation on the ankle.
