Cardiff Blues have teamed up with Nando's and British Heart Foundation (BHF) Cymru for a fantastic offer for supporters
Cardiff Blues play Montpellier on Sunday the 9th December at 12.45pm at the Arms Park and earlier that day the annual BHF Cymru Santa Jog takes place, starting at Cardiff Castle at 10.30am.
To celebrate the jog, everyone taking part that purchases a ticket and turns up to watch the Blues take on Montpellier wearing their Santa outfit will be given a voucher to purchase half a chicken in the Nando’s Brewery Quarter, Cardiff.
More than one and a half thousand people are expected to put on their Santa hats and help to raise £40,000 for the vital work of BHF Cymru. After exiting the Castle, the route winds around 5km of Bute Park’s beautiful winter backdrop. Participants are invited to run, walk or jog, making it an event suitable for all the family.
All adult participants will receive a free Santa suit upon registering and children are encouraged to come in Christmas fancy dress.
Event organiser Hannah Townsend said:
“We are calling on the people of Cardiff to sign up to this fantastic event.
“It is one of the area’s most popular festive events and we always get great feedback.
“There is something for everyone, whether you wish to walk, run or jog to get festively fit.
“Every participant will receive a free Santa suit, so get yourself into the Christmas spirit and take part.

“The Cardiff Blues v Montpellier game is sure to be an exciting encounter in Europe's premier club competition.
“It’s great that we have teamed up with Nando’s for this special offer and after the Cardiff Santa Jog we hope everyone will go to watch the Blues and enjoy a lovely meal at Nando’s.
