Post match interview l Fly-half Tinus de Beer reflects on his first competitive win in a Cardiff shirt as his 11 points with the boot helped the Blue and Blacks to a 9-16 victory over Dragons RFC at Rodney Parade yesterday afternoon.
“I think it’s massive for the boys get a win. All week it was about Sunday.
“First one, first win in the Cardiff Jersey for me is just special. I think we got stuck in and we got the results, so we're very happy with it.
“I think it's a different bunch of boys in the change room right now. I think last week heads were hanging. We knew that we let the game go, slip out of our hands.
“We learnt from last week, turned the tide, we got the win here. The boys are happy, coaches look happy. I'm happy to get the four points here.
"Next week we take on Scarlets, and that's another big game for us, so we have to step up again."
