Four Cardiff Blues players have been selected by Wales Sevens head coach Gareth Williams for rounds six and seven of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Hong Kong and Japan.
Ben Roach, Dan Fish, Tomos Williams and Tom Williams will all make the trip alongside full internationals Rhodri Williams and Adam Warren as Wales plot the downfall of USA, England and Kenya in another demanding pool in Hong Kong.
Wales have failed to reach the heights of the opening two rounds in Australia and Dubai and slipped to 11th in the world rankings but Williams is confident the influx of new talent will re-ignite his sides challenge.
"The boys have worked really hard in training and we hope to put a few wrongs right over the next couple of weeks. Our game against England kicks of the tournament in Hong Kong on Friday week and we're genuinely excited with the group we are taking there," he said.
