Dragon Signs are continuing to play their part in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak, by supplying full face visors to local key workers.
With most businesses adapting to these testing times, Cardiff-based Dragon Signs have developed their own full face visors, which give high level of protection in the bid to prevent the spreading of the virus.
The visors are a CE Category Three certified product, conforming with EU 2016/425.
Managing director, Rhys Harrington, is proud to be able to contribute to the local community and insists Dragon Signs wanted to follow the correct steps in order to create products of the highest quality.
Harrington said: “As many organisations have had to temporarily close their doors, much of our sign work has been postponed. We considered how our business could adapt and contribute to the fight against such an unprecedented pandemic. As we already have in-house printing facilities, producing some protective equipment was achievable. We were keen for the visors to provide a high level of protection and decided to follow protocols to achieve a CE certificate.
“The visors are already in circulation, last week we donated to City Hospice and we have supplied to local councils, G4S, Evans’ Pharmacy group and GP practices. Plus we are continuing to produce sneeze screens, support banners and social distancing materials for businesses.
“I am really proud of the team at Dragon Signs, we have a strong team who have adapted and are making a real difference in the community.”
Dragon Signs are long-term partners of Cardiff Blues, and have grown to become one of the UK’s leading signage providers.
Harrington says the business is still open for business as usual, but they’ve implied strict measures in order to follow Government protocols.
He added: “We are continuing to take orders whilst adhering to the Governments protocols, ensuring we protect our team and the public .”
