Cardiff Blues winger Chris Czekaj has been hailed a star in the making after scoring for Wales on his debut against Canada.
The 19-year-old flyer scored an outstanding 60m try on Saturday as part of Wales record 60-3 defeat against the Canucks.
And his contribution to the test victory has been applauded by Cardiff Blues director of coaching Dai Young.
Chris really proved his worth, not just in the way he scored a difficult try but in his contribution throughout the game, he said.
Young, who also made his debut for Wales at the age of 19 in 1987, added: Playing for Wales at that age is not easy, particularly when Chris has only had a few senior games for the Blues.
But he proved he has the talent and pace to compete at test level and Ive no doubt that Chris is a rugby star in the making.
Czekaj was one of several Blues to appear for Wales against Canada. Fellow winger Rhys Williams scored a try in the match and Mike Phillips, who will join the Blues next season, was a powerful force at scrum half.
Forwards Robert Sidoli, Rhys Thomas, John Yapp and Robin Sowden-Taylor also played their part in Wales success.
I was delighted for all the boys who once again proved the strength of the Blues playing squad, said Young.
