Bradley Davies (2005-2014 | 118 appearances | 8 tries | 66 caps for Wales)
Bradley Davies came through the ranks at Cardiff Blues and his size and power soon saw him establish himself in the Cardiff Blues boiler room. Davies had some memorable moments in the Welsh capital, including famous tries against Gloucester and in the 2010 Amlin Cup final win over Toulon. Davies departed for Wasps in 2014 and has also won 66 caps for Wales to date, captaining his country in 2013.
Deiniol Jones (2004-2012 | 175 appearances | 2 tries | 13 caps for Wales)
Having joined Cardiff Blues from Celtic Warriors in 2004, Welsh international Deiniol Jones went on to make 175 appearances for the region, and remains in the top 10 for appearances. A consistent performer for Cardiff Blues, he became the first player to make 100 appearances for the region before retiring due to a shoulder injury in 2012.
Craig Quinnell (2003-2006 | 55 appearances | 7 tries | 32 caps for Wales)
Experienced international Craig Quinnell featured in the first three seasons of regional rugby, having played for Cardiff RFC in the pre-regional era. The 6ft 6in lock became a fan favourite at the Arms Park and also won 32 caps for Wales before being forced to retire due to injury in 2006.
Macauley Cook (2010-present | 167 appearances | 17 tries)
Former Wales under-20 captain, Macauley Cook, graduated from the Cardiff Blues academy and was named the region’s Most Promising Player in 2014. He has been a reliable and consistent squad member throughout, highlighted by his 167 appearances, and has featured at both lock and in the back row, displaying his versatility
