Danny Wilson has provided an injury update, going into this weekend's final round of Challenge Cup pool action, where Cardiff Blues travel to Lyon.
Cardiff Blues have already secured qualification for the quarter finals in Europe, and have a slim hope of ensuring a home tie, should results go their way in the clash between Connacht and Oyonnax.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s game, Wilson said: “We’ve got a couple of short-term bangs to players who won’t make the turnaround, such as George Earle who won’t play this weekend.
“Matthew Morgan will be out for six to eight weeks with a knee injury, and Willis Halaholo has had knee surgery on Monday and will be out for the next three to four weeks.
“Kristian Dacey has got a bit of a calf problem, which has appeared out of the blue.
“There are the four boys who have had injuries over the last couple of weeks and will be out for a little bit of time.
“But in some of those positions we’ve got a little bit of depth and a few guys who have the opportunity and should be hungry off the back of maybe not playing much.
“Off the back of a great result over the weekend and an achievement for us in the season, hopefully those other boys will come in and add to the squad.
“We’ve had our fair share of injuries in all positions, and it usually comes in that way. It’s part of the game.”
