The Wales backline is looking distinctly Blue for the first tour match against USA on Saturday at the Rentschler Stadium, Hartford (4th June, kick-off: 8.00 pm BST).

Meet the ultimate 'Urdd' movers
Rugby stars from the Cardiff Blues are adding their weight to the Urdd Eisteddfod in Cardiff Bay this week.

The Cardiff Blues will have a special stand at the event to promote the club and region to younger fans.

Members of the Blues squad, including Welsh internationals Ben Evans and Jamie Robinson, will be on hand during the festival to show visitors their ball-handling skills, sign autographs and distribute club giveaways.

With Great Sadness

Blues’ hospital visit a tonic for the children
Poorly children at two South Wales hospitals received a welcome tonic when players from Cardiff Blues took a break from training to say “hello”.

Members of the Blues’ squad - including Wales’ internationals Craig Quinnell, Jamie Robinson and Ben Evans - visited the children’s wards at University Hospital Wales in Cardiff and Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil..

As well as having the chance to meet their rugby heroes, the children also received some special Blues’ giveaways from the team.

Blues’ director of coaching Dai Young said: “Despite the knocks and bumps they get on the pitch, our players realise how lucky they are to be fit and up and about.
“Nothing brings this home more than a poorly child in hospital and we hope a visit from some of our players will help to put a smile on their faces.”

Cardiff head for Canada
Cardiff Rugby Football Club depart for Canada this weekend. A 26-man squad, supported by coach Howard Stone and team manager Keith Morgan plus physiotherapists, officials and supporters, will play two matches in Toronto.
