The Cardiff Blues will be visiting the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Cardiff and District on Monday 4 August.
The whole squad will be put through their paces on the Eisteddfod field at 11.00am as the Blues Conditioning team Trystan Bevan, Dan Baugh and Chris Tombs prepare the team for the new season. Supporters are invited to watch the hour-long session and also visit the Blues stand.
On Thursday 7 August between 2.00pm and 3.00pm Jamie Roberts and Deiniol Jones will be helping out coaching youngsters. On Friday 8 August 2.00pm and 3.00pm, it will be Nicky and Jamie Robinsons turn to pass on tips to the budding rugby players at the festival, which attracts around 160,000 visitors annually.
Following the success of last seasons open coaching nights the Cardiff Blues can confirm that they will also be holding another Open Coaching Evening on Monday 4 August, 5.30pm at Pontypridd RFC.
Director of Coaching, David Young will run a training session with the Cardiff Blues squad between 5:30 to 6:30pm. At 7pm in the function room under the grandstand there will be a presentation on the introduction of experimental law variations, ELVs
