Rugby development director John Huw Williams will lead six Capital Rugby schools across the Severn Bridge to play in the Selwyn Wyatt Trophy this weekend.
Bryn Deri, Pendoylan, Ysgol Melin Gruffydd, Ysgol Pen-y-Garth and Sully, will compete in this annual tournament in Calne, Wiltshire.
Commenting on the tournament, John said,
I am delighted six schools have accepted this invitation to participate in the Selwyn Wyatt Trophy.
Schools from Cardiff and the Vale have taken part for many seasons and it is a very suitable name for the tournament, recognising the memory of my former colleague and all the effort he invested in schools rugby through his career as a teacher and coach.
