Blues Under 18 will face their Osprey counterparts this Wednesday in the last league game of the season at Abercwmboi RFC.
Unbeaten this season, the Blues side have already secured themselves a place in the final, where they face the Scarlets, which will be held on Sunday the 27th of January.
Captain, Michael Snook, will want to take the opportunity to showcase the talent of the young side, with the prospect of gaining a place on the national team as a huge incentive.
With thirteen Blues picked in Allan Lewis’s 44 man Wales Under 18 training squad, this game will be an opportunity for the boys to fight for their place in the starting XV as well as cementing their place in this coveted league final.
Speaking of the season, Richard Hodges, Cardiff Blues Academy Performance Manager says,
“The Under 18’s have been a real positive this year winning nine out of nine so far. They’re a year young, so next year should be even better.”
