Cardiff Blues have today confirmed they will lock horns with Aviva Premiership outfit Exeter Chiefs in pre-season at the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Mark Hammett’s team will face the Devon side on home soil in the build-up to the new PRO12 season on Friday, August 15 (kick-off 7.30pm).
The sides served up two classic European encounters last season and another keenly fought contest will now unfold in the first pre-season fixture for Blues.
Blues have already announced details of an away clash with Leicester Tigers on August 29.
