Cardiff Blues have received confirmation that they will play the Dragons and the Scarlets at Cardiff Arms Park over the festive period
It promises to be a cracking Christmas for Cardiff Blues supporters who can look forward to watching their side take on the Scarlets on black Friday, the 21st of December 7.05pm kick off. The Blues are currently looking at holding a huge Christmas party for supporters in a marquee at the ground to help kick off the match.
On Boxing Day the Blues then welcome the Dragons to Cardiff Arms Park for a 2.05pm kick off. The return of a Blues Boxing Day fixture at Cardiff Arms Park is sure to be music to the ears of Blues supporters who have traditionally gathered with family and friends to watch a match following the Christmas celebrations.
Tickets for both matches are included in the price of a season ticket which starts from as low as £215 for a reserved seat in the Grandstand.
A terrace season ticket costs just £180 which gives access to every one of the 17 home games at the Arms Park, including the big Heineken Cup matches against Toulon, Montpellier and Sale Sharks and works out at just £10.58 per match.
Speaking of the fixtures Cardiff Blues Chief Executive Officer, Richard Holland said, “Following discussions with the RaboDirect PRO12 and the broadcasters we are delighted to have secured two home fixtures over the festive period here at the Arms Park.”
“These fixtures have now become set in the rugby calendar and I’m sure all our supporters will look forward to getting together with family and friends over Christmas to watch some top quality rugby.”
“There should be a great atmosphere at the ground and we are confident that we will have sell-out crowds for both matches.”
