Cardiff Blues and Fereti Tuilagi have mutually agreed an early termination to their short-term contract arrangements.
The former Leicester Tigers' wing has been hampered with injury throughout his season in Wales and leaves to focus his attention on his personal business interests.
Blues' chief executive Robert Norster commented:
"We are naturally sad to come to this agreement but with only five matches remaining of this season and Freddie continuing to be troubled by injury it is the logical option for both parties. We take this opportunity to thank Freddie for his efforts and wish him and his family well."
