Blues North Under 16s completed a double over the Scarlets at Ynysybwl winning 17-0 to keep alive their slender hopes of reaching the final of the WRU Regional Championship.
Tries from outside half Harry Allen and Liam Brabum put the North on their way with Allen adding a penalty and two conversions to wrap up the victory.
North now take on the Dragons at Newbridge on Monday (24th April) with an opportunity to deny their hosts a place in next week's final against the Ospreys.
If the Blues win the game with a bonus point and deny the Dragons a bonus point, they will upset the formbook and reach the final on Sunday week at Rodney Parade.
Blues North 17 Scarlets 0. Tries from Harry Allen (10) and Liam Brabum (13). Pen and 2 cons from Harry Allen who capped a fine performance. Half Time 3-0.
Blues Under 20s
As the last game of the season approaches, Bleus under 20s are currently bottom of the group, but aim to finish above the Dragons by defeating them on Thursday 27th April at Rumney RFC kick-off 19:15.
Blues Under 18s player Sam Warburton (Whitchurch) captains Wales Under 18s and led them to victory against Ireland in the latest round of the Home Nations tournament. After already beating scotland a victory against England will see Wales claim the title again.
