Following another season of fantastic Blues Cup rugby, the finals days are once upon us, with ten teams set to battle it out at Cardiff Arms Park for the chance to lift the Blues Cup trophies.

Rumney will be looking to defend their Blues Cup title in the Under 11s section, after overcoming Rhiwbina and Pontypridd to reach the final against Blues North opponents Gwernyfed. Rumney will also contest the Under 10s title in a Cardiff versus Vale clash, with Cowbridge Under 10s the opponents in the first final to be played. The third final to be played on Sunday 25th April is Cowbridge against Rhiwbina.

On day 2 of the finals, Pontypridd have the chance to reclaim the Under 13s title, which they lifted last season, whilst there was a surprise in the Under 14s semi final with favourites St Joseph’s defeated by St Peter’s, who will now take on Beddau, another of the Blues north regional teams.

Cardiff Blues Development Officer Gary Knowles said, "All the teams that are through to the final stage are good teams, and it will take a special performance in each age grade for the teams to win their title. Each team will all be looking forward to these mouth watering clashes ahead."

“We’re playing the finals over two days this year as the event is getting bigger and bigger. Its free to come and watch the finals, which take place at the former home of Cardiff Blues, the Arms Park.
