Cardiff Blues can confirm that Dan Park will leave the Blues at the end of the season to join Irish province Connacht
Dan Parks joined Cardiff Blues from Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2010. The 33 year-old had been a central figure for the Warriors and his ever-reliable boot had seen him finish as top scorer in each of his six years at the club.
Since joining the Blues Dan has gone on to make 31 appearances scoring 328 points, including 15 drop goals.
Speaking of the announcement Cardiff Blues Backs Coach Gareth Baber said,
“Dan has been an integral part of the team since joining us two seasons ago and will continue to be so for the rest of the season.”
“We would like to wish him the best of luck with his future career and with Connacht next season.”
