To celebrate grassroots rugby, Cardiff Blues' principal partner Land Rover are inviting two junior clubs to take part in a youth touch rugby festival - and the chance to become a mascot at Rugby World Cup 2019 (TM) in Japan is up for grabs!
The exciting festival will take place at Farleigh House on Saturday, March 30, with under-11s and under-12s teams from Cardiff Blues, Bath Rugby and Glasgow Warriors going head-to-head.
As part of the festival, Land Rover will be offering one lucky participant from each Land Rover affiliated club to become a mascot at Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan. The winning individual must represent Land Rover’s rugby values and will be selected by a panel of Land Rover ambassadors, coaches and club representatives.
All under-11 teams within the Cardiff Blues region are invited to enter by submitting a video on Twitter, detailing why they should be considered. Videos must be submitted by tagging both @Cardiff_Blues and @LandRoverRugby.
The participating team for the under-12’s tournament will be selected from the quarter-finalists of the Cardiff Blues Land Rover Cup and Plate competitions, who will also be asked to enter a video.
All entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 3, with the winning teams selected by a panel of Cardiff Blues players and announced across our social media channels.
