More than £25,000 was raised for the Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation at the club’s annual golf trip.
Some 80-plus former players, coaches, partners and sponsors attended the weekend in Villamoura Portugal, with two days of golf and a gala dinner.
The fundraiser plays a key role in enabling the Community Foundation to Inspire, Engage and Improve opportunities for 65,000 people of all ages and backgrounds, each and every year.
Community director, Nadine Griffiths, said: "We are extremely grateful and in awe of the generosity and continued support we get from our corporate network – without them we couldn’t do what we do.
"This year alone we have engaged over 65,000 people through a variety of programmes, which really do make differences in the heart of our communities.
"As well documented, the cost of living crisis is having a huge impact on all people within Wales, the need for our services is unprecedented – whether that be through our Fit & Fed camps or the massive amount of work we do within the disability and inclusion space – this summer alone we will feed and provide fun activity over 2000 children throughout our region – those children most at need and at real risk of holiday hunger.
"The kindness and un wavering support of our corporate network, our supporters and players means we can continue to help and make differences wherever we can – to coin the well known phrase ‘Together we are stronger.’"
