Cardiff Blues today announced the signing of Andy Powell from Llanelli Scarlets.
The highly rated back row forward has been impressive since his return to Wales and the Blues are obviously delighted to have landed the former Wales Under-21s and Wales A player.
Dai Young said, Andy is obviously a quality acqusuition for the region and will add strength and a real physicality to our back row unit. His signing will make our back row even more competitive.
The 24 year old who has played for Beziers, Leicester and Newport was very impressive in the Scarlets v Blues match up in Stradey Park last season.
